New Life

Okay, so I decided on naming my photography. It is now called TCJ Photography. Whenever I am able to get a software where I can make a cool little siggy on the bottom of the pics then this is what it will say. I haven't been taking too many pictures lately because I have been just trying to keep the house in order. Well we move this month. We have about a week and a half left here and we are so ready. I am ready to get our house and unpack everything! Ready for things to be back in order!

Also, this month we have a celebration. Jessi turns 2 years old on Sunday! She is getting so big and more and more photogenic with every day. She picks out her clothes almost everyday and is very moody if I try to. She is so funny! This morning she picked out this very pretty dress so I had to do a photo shoot! The boys got in on it too! I will share some........

Okay, so I shared more than I intended, but I m sure you like them all!

Not sure if I will update again before we move so it may be a while, but I will still take photos and when I post next time it will be full!

Summer Time

We have been enjoying our summer. We go to the park the most, but we have done a few other things. The other day a soccer clinic with Ohio Wesleyan University Soccer Team was held and the boys attended. I got some good shots of them playing and even Jessi. They taught them passing, kicking, and head butting the ball. The kids loved it!! Hope you enjoy the pictures!

The Ohio Wesleyan University Soccer Team and all of the children that participated in the clinic.

This team was awesome. They were very friendly and they were awesome with the soccer ball. They taught all of these children and had a lot of fun with it. I just want to say Thanks to them for their love for the game and for coming out and teaching our children.

No Much New.....

Not a lot has happened this week. No one got hurt and everyone still has all of their limbs. Thank goodness for that! We are preparing for our final shipment to be packed up and taken away. That will happen this week. YAY!!! One step closer to moving to another country! We are getting more excited about the move, I am getting more stressed about it; but the kids and Michael are ready! Just wish I had a magic wand that I could wave and it would all be done and over with.

Found out this week I have a freaking nerve problem in my back that no medicine can help! I do have some things to help the pain not occur as often but nothing can stop it completely. Just Great HUH! I will make it though, I am a Mother, and we don't have a choice do we?!

Anyway enough of that and on to some great mother nature shots I took this week.

Natures Beauty - taken outside our door in our stairwell. He was just chillin' on the wall until some little girl, not mentioning any names, decided she needed to touch it! I don't think I have ever seen a moth this color!

Night Sky - taken on July 15th. I saw the moon shinning so bright and just had to have a picture of it!

I have been told I take some of the oddest pictures. I respond to these unknowing people like this....... When I look around me I do not see just trees and grass. I do not see just birds and kids plying at the playground. I do not just see the moon sitting there for no apparent reason. I SEE PICTURES!!! Everything I look at I see through the eye of my camera. If I feel like the subject is worthy I take a picture of it. Look around you, and you will find that there are so many things out there that would make a great picture. I refer back to one of my favorite shots.

This little shed is off of the A62. I don't know why but it caught my eye last winter. I have multiple shots of it. This is the shot that hangs in my hallway!

Eventful Days

Well lately we have been just getting things ready to leave here and head back to the good ole USA!!!! Cleaning, packing, making appointments; you know this is a process! Caden was playing with Taylor and the neighbors child and they got rough and Caden fell and busted his head. At first I thought okay its just scratched a bit and there is just all this blood but he is fine. Then I cleaned the blood off and I saw this!

Then I moved his hair back and saw this.......

So we were on our way to the hospital, which is about 20 minutes away, and our faithful neighbor comes out and says he called the Aid station for his unit and they were ready and willing to fix him up right away. So we went right down the road and took him. The man that fixed my baby was so nice. I was concerned because of dealing with the unexpected, but this man knew what he was doing. My baby boy sat there all big in his daddy's lap as he cleaned and stapled him up. Of course he yelled a bit, but nothing like I expected he would! He is a tough little man.

So after we got back home he wanted to see his staples so I took a picture for him to see.

I hope this didn't gross you out that much!

Today, 24 hours later, he is running around acting like nothing happened. Michael is wanting him to be extra careful but hey he is a 4 year old boy, how careful is he really going to be!

On a lighter note, we have made reservations for our temporary lodging here and at our destination. So we will not be homeless for a little while anyway! I just hope this flight goes smoothly! It is such a long flight and we haven't made it since Jessi has gotten older. The flights before she just slept, but I am thinking that is not going to happen this time! I guess we will find out next month!

Great 4th of July

Well yesterday was the 4th of July. We all celebrate our independence in different ways. Our family had a cookout with friends and had a great time. We have gained a new family member. Her name is Bella and she is almost 3 years old. She has been with many families and now she has finally found a home! She has only been with us for about a month now, but she has left her paw print on our family! She will forever be a member in our family! So without anymore waiting, I give you Bella! Okay, so today I thought WOW I have a blog! I haven't been on here in like a year or more. So here I am with a little update. I have stopped digi scrapping because of lack of time. I have always had a passion for photography so I am taking that to the next step, as it is more portable. Maybe one day I can get back into scrapping but for now I will just be posting pictures and updates on life.

Taylor has now finished the 1st grade! WOW right?! Caden will be starting Pre-K in the fall and Jessi is running around here like she is in charge. We are still in Germany for another couple of months, then we are off to Washington state!

Sorry I haven't been on the blog lately. I have a lot going on and have not found the time to do any scrapping or blogging. So I got a minute tonight and decided to update!

The weather is finally getting nice and we can go outside again most days. Baby girl has had a fever for no apparent reason and the doctor couldn't even find out what the heck was going on. She is better now but for about 4 days it sucked bad around here. Taylor and Caden are doing fine. Taylor got his report card the other day and is doing GREAT! I am so proud of him and I find myself telling him so much he is probably tired of hearing it, LOL Caden is learning too. He knows all of his colors and shapes and we (Taylor and I) are working on teaching him his ABC's. Taylor is so proud to be able to help teach him.

With summer approaching and school winding down with this deployment:) we are gearing up for some traveling. I want to see some of this beautiful country. Taylor and Caden are wanting to see a 'real' castle they say. So I have some castles in the plans! Who knows what else we are going to be doing. I will fill you in on all the details as the come up!

On a heavier note, I am in need of some prayers. My nephew has had many brain surgeries all of his 12 years of life. He recently had a life threatening situation and had to have a major surgery. He usually bounces back rather quickly but this time he hasn't. Please keep Rain in your thoughts and prayers. Hopefully he will go home from the hospital on Monday!

Ok, so I haven't done any scrapping or blogging in a while. Sorry! I have been kind of down and we are all sick too. First, it was me, then Caden, Taylor and now Jessi. And it sucks BAD!

We have now started 'the countdown', we have 8 weeks left until the return of Michael. If we were told the truth, that is! So we are preparing the house for a celebration! When Jessi sees his photo she gets all excited so hopefully she 'll know him.

So sickness and readying the house has NOT stopped my camera from flashing so I have lots of photos to scrap. So I was checking some out last night and this is what I came up with. Hope you like them. All work is done with kits from Dee's Delightful Designs.

This photo was taken in 2007. We were eating at this little place in Kentucky and happened to see the rainbow. We were there to see hubby graduate basic training!

SAD day for us, HAPPY DAY for her

Okay, life has been kinda busy!

So we went back to the states and saw Rosie. She was ok at first. She went home from the hospital because there was nothing else the doctor could do for her and she said she wanted to go home. So we visited with her on the days that were half way good and we had a few good visits. The kids and I returned on Sunday to Germany and last night she passed. Now she is not in anymore pain and she is in heaven where she belongs! She was such a great woman and I LOVE HER so much. She was like a second mother to me for the last 10+ years. It was a hard decision to come back but I had to do what was best for my children and watching their grandmother die I didn't believe was the best thing. They talked to her, gave her hugs and kisses and she was able to respond. To me that's what counts. She told me that I was making the right choice to come home and her opinion was the only one that mattered to me.

Ok so its been a while since I have blogged and one of my faithful followers is having a small fit so here goes...

First off, Rosie. Thank you all for the many prayers and thoughts. She is still in the hospital but she is in stable condition FINALLY! She is staring a bone marrow transplant in the face in the upcoming months, if she elects to do it. She is still undecided about it all. I know she has got to be tired of it all and this has got to be the worst decision to have to make. She has been so strong and her 'fight' is awesome. So I am still home for now, stressed out to the freaking max but I will make it, it's nothing compared to what she is going through!

On to my babies. They are all growing so fast. Taylor is 4 foot tall now and almost 60 pounds, Caden is 3 foot and is almost 40 pounds, and Jessi is a hole 13 pounds!!! WooHooo!! So proud to say that. She's getting so big, she wants to crawl and can't yet. So she gets mad, she has her dad's temper! She doesn't even sleep the same anymore. She can't go to bed at night if the boys are even awake. She is so afraid she is gonna miss something fun I guess! Michael is doing ok, he is so tired of being over there. We are all tired of him being over there. Caden tells me all the time he wants to go back to the airport to go get daddy. It is so sweet and sad all at the same time.

So I haven't been on here very much lately. Been feeling kind of 'down' for lack of a better word! So I have just been surrounding myself with my babies! I managed to get this layout done tonight, it is for Carjazi's Gardening w/Quotes Challenge over at DSG! Hope you like it.

Ok, so Rosie is still in the hospital. Will be for a while. I can't decide wether or not to go home. It's so much to factor in... Taylor in school, the long flight with the 3 of my babies by myself AGAIN, staying with others AGAIN, no scrapping computer (ok so that isn't as important), ya no all that kind of stuff. I want to go and help out but there isn't a whole lot I can do with the kids and her in the hosital. I have been thinking I could go and hold the house down, take care of the animals that kind of thing, but still not sure what to do. Gosh this is so hard!

Anyway I have been doing some layouts for challenges over at DSG. So I will share them with you. Only a few though, you should check out DSG and see the rest. Everyone over there is so nice and you'd love the community!

Hello! Just wanted to let everyone know I may be MIA for a little while. My stepmom is back in the hospital and I may be flying out of here soon. She has Leukemia and it is now out of remission and she's fighting pneumonia also. It's a very touchy situation. So I may be away from my computer for a little while.

Almost Christmas....

Ok, so it's almost Christmas and I am still so not in the mood. Guess it has a lot to do with Michael gone and not being near any family! Not that I want to go back home! I mean don't get me wrong I love my family, but I love my own space too. At home I don't have that!

Well all presents are bought and wrapped and under the tree. Except for Michaels, I am so not leaving this tree up until July! So I will be putting it back up then and placing his presents there like 2 days before he gets home. I am also planning on having a full scale Christma/Thanksgiving Dinner for him and some of his friends if they want to come. After being over there for so long they need some good cooking!

The boys are so ready for 'Santa'. We will be making oatmeal cookies for him this afternoon. They wanted to make 2 kinds but told them santa didn't need that much because all the kids were gonna leave him cookies and we don'twant him getting to full at our house. So they decided just oatmeal! Thank goodness.

Haven't really felt good lately. Haven't been on here much either. Just kind of spending time with them and trying to keep my house somewhat clean! LOL

SNOW AGAIN!!

Well it started snowing yet again last night. We were supposed to get 6 inches but we didn't or hadn't yet. It is still snowing but it is a light snow so not too bad yet. I have 'duty' this week so I just came in from shoveling the sidewalk and putting salt out. Taylor and Caden helped with the salt part! They got a kick out of it. I took some pictures of them working hard so will be scrapping them when I can get them uploaded to my computer! It's supposed to snow the rest of today and then stop, so hopefully won't have to shovel all week!

Boys are just playing quietly, imagine that. The people upstairs are louder than my 2 in my apartment! We were raised in the counrty and we aren't that loud! You would think they would have a little more respect than that. But kids these days lack respect! I have always tried to instill that into my kids, not gonna have disrespectful kids ya no! But their mom is loud too. As we all know kids learn from the people that raise them! Sorry about the rant!!!

I haven't talked to Michael verbally in a few days! Gosh I am so ready for this deployment to be over. Typing to him on IM is nothing like being able to smell his stinkie breath!!! We chat just about everynight; if his internet is working that is. Their net is better than it was but it still sucks. But at least he has it in his room and isn't limited to 30 mintues anymore! Maybe he will call soon! I wish the commander would call the FRG and say 'OK get ready for our coming home ceremony!!!' Man that would be great!

Ok, so its been a little while, but I am here! It has been kind of crazy around here. Snowing almost every day. We walked Taylor to school one mornng in a foot and a half of snow and it was still coming down hard! Then had to go back and get him a half hour later because they decided that road conditions were too bad and school needed to close. Ok, so my wonder is... since these children were already there why not have classes and the children that couldnt make it don't count it against them. But I guess they couldn't do that. So I had to get Jessi out of bed, Caden all bundled up again and go get Taylor! Crazy day!!! Luckily we had food and I didn't have to leave the house in the car until Friday! And I didn't!!! By Friday the roads were alot better!! Thank goodness, we were running a little low on groceries!

We had another video tele-comference with Michael on Friday, so that was what I looked forward to all week! It ws nice to be able to talk to him and see him at the same time with out the web cam freezing up! We are so ready for him to come home! So is he! But he is over half way now so it won't be long. I have not been looking forward to the holiday season without him! The only good thing about it is another month is gone and closer to him being back home with us! Despite not really being in the spirit of Christmas I have gotten all of my shopping done. I pick up a few little things if I run across them but I have everything I planned! So the kids will have a good one, well as good as it can be without Daddy anyway!

My Birthday

Ok, so the 29th was my birthday as many of you know. It started out ok and got better as the day went on. The boys helped me clean the house and we went grocery shopping. They were good there too! Michael called and wished me a Happy Birthday, so that really made my day!!

So I had talked with our sitter about getting some 'me' time, so she showed up around 3:30. I went to find a few more Christmas presents for the kids and possibly Michael. And I ended up buying me a birthday present! If you know me well enough, you know I don't buy me things. But I did yesterday. So I picked up a few more things and out of the store I went. I have been wanting a piercing, so I went to the local tatoo place... they had closed 30 minutes before I got there! Darn it! Just have to wait a little longer!

A friend of mine wanted to take me out for dinner so I picked her up and she bought me a steak! It was really good! We went to this little German restaurant and they cook the steaks where you can see it! Nice little place and its kid friendly, so we will be going back. I got to missing my babies, so as soon as we were done eating, I went home!! We picked up the kids and went bowling. The kids loved that.

Then we woke up this morning to SNOW, AGAIN!!! Snowed its tail off until around lunch, so it has stopped for now!

Thanksgiving Day

Well it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The boys woke up around 8 and were running around doing their thing while I was preparing the turkey for the oven! I had it in by 9 and the rest was cake compared to that cooking time. I got everything done and we ate around 2ish. It was good, but I kept in mind that I am still trying to loose the baby weight and I DIDNOT overdo it. Can you believe it, I could breath when I left my table and I walked away! LOL

Michael was online early in the morning and I got to talk to him for a bit. It was nice to be able to. Just wish he could come home, it gets so lonely around here even with the kids! For anyone that doesn't know.... DEPLOYMENTS SUCK!!! It's ok sometimes, but for the most part, it SUCKS!!! Life just isn't the same without him here! I hear people complaining about their husbands all the time and I say to myself 'At least he is here to get on your nerves!' What I would give just to have him here everyday irritating me again! He's so good at it too!

Well I'll get on with it now.... There's BIG sales everywhere and over at DSG there is even bigger sales! So go on over and check out the store for all of your digi scrapping needs!

So this morning we went out to walk Taylor to school and it was raining! So we had to come back in for Jessi's car seat and get in the car to go to the school. Like always no parking spot... finally got parked to walk him to class and got soaked! We stayed in the rest of the morning until time to go pick him up. Weather had subsuided and we walked to pick him up. The wind was like sheets of ice cutting through my sweatshirt. So got back and waited on the phone to ring.... it didn't! So the sun popped out and we ran to CMR to check the mail and get a Frap! LOL By the time we came out, like 5 minutes later....... it was FREAKIN' SNOWIN'!!!! And I dont mean a little... I mean wind blowing it in every direction. And we all have a frozen drink in our hands! We got vack to the house and haven't left since! I looked out a little bit ago and it's still snowing!!! Kids are loving it, of course! I did hear from hubby on the net, he just couldn't get a chance to call :( But thank you Internet... I know he is ok and I even got to see him! His web cam worked for about 10 minutes.... a little is better than none at all.

Anyway on to the layouts.......... I created these with the Working Mum kit by Magick Scraps!

Ok, so there was another CT call I answered and I got it!! WOOHOO!! I am now a Wand Waver! Go Me! Go Me! Ok so I have downloaded the fabulous kit and will get started as soon as I get some sleep! OK today is here and I have GREAT news! I am a CT for Kari aka Relocated Dixie Girl Designs! Woo Hoo!!! I got this great kit last night and was up until 1 a.m. making layouts. OK, well Jessi woke up too but most of that time I was creating!! So here are the layouts I promised!!

And last but NEVER least.... 'My Love'

All 3 were made with Kari's kit Hush. I love working with this kit. I had no problems making a girl layout and definitely not boy layouts.

Ok, so this is my first time with this blog stuff. So if it's not pretty or interesting enough for you, please give me a chance to get used to it. So I am a CT for Dee's Delightful Designs and hopefully one other. Will let you know how that goes.

So here is a little something I whipped up this morning....

I used a new kit, not even released yet by Dee's Delightful Designs. It's called Cat Paws. The subject of my layout is Moe. He belongs to my sister. He does all kinds of crazy things and I caught him sleeping here. Well we thought he was sleeping, but he opened one eye when I snapped this shot.
